Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier, the founders of Mercury Films Inc., have been making award-winning, critically acclaimed documentaries and films for nearly three decades. Their subjects are eclectic, skewed to art and philosophy, and try to extend formal boundaries without being inaccessible.
